Welcome. I’m David Sines, and I write young-adult dystopian fiction. If you’ve arrived here through one of my books—or are wondering where to begin—this is a good place to start.
The Nora and Alai series
Book one: A.C.T.
Start here if you’re new to Nora and Alai.
Book two: Trust
Continue the story after A.C.T.
Book three: Oversight
I’m currently writing the third book. I’ll share news here when there’s something ready to announce.
What you’ll receive
The Novel Parlour’s little brother is a place for occasional book news, reading recommendations, and selected story excerpts. Subscriptions are free, and posts arrive when I have something worth sharing.
You can subscribe here, visit my author website, or browse the archive for past reviews and other writing.
Why The Novel Parlour?
The name is a tribute to my sister’s bookshop and the love of books that stayed with me after it closed. You can read the story behind it on the About page.
Thanks for being here.
